This is a beautiful property and great location, but VERY poorly managed. Had to request for the room to be cleaned, they never did the "turn down" at night as advised, we were suppose to have access to TWO additional properties yet one was closed and the other 1/2 closed,. Selected the Beach House so we could go to all three and they NEVER told us they were not available until arrival and then seemed indifferent to our concern, They "spray" the dining area every night RIGHT before it opens with bug spray when all the dinnerware si set on the table! Guests observed this while at the pool and were mortified! Very unfortunate as the property and location are beautiful! Front office staff are pleasant but have no information on local activities, directions, nothing....

They need 10 stars, 5 doesn't do it Justice

We moved to this resort after we had spent a couple days at the Alexandra resort. This was worth it. Fresh food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The alcoholic beverages are amazing. I've never been one to get good and tipsy off of one drink but Beach House knows how to make them. This is a nice, quiet, very intimate resort. Only 21 rooms I believe. It's adults only. It was nice to have the peace and quiet. The rooms were always clean. The only thing I wish they offered was room service. I can't tell you how many times in the middle of the night I wanted a snack and nothing was open and I could not get any pizza place to deliver to me here. I had run out of snacks I purchased at the local IGA. The staff was super nice. We will definitely be back. We are a gay married couple and felt safe at this resort without question. Everyone was amazing. We were prepared to stay another week if the Hurricane had delayed our flight. They are right on the beach, nice water, even have water activities. We did the hobby cat and it was great. The water trampoline was also amazing. Huge thank you to the entire staff for making our stay amazing and making us feel welcome, safe and spoiled.

Fantastic Anniversary Week

Great trip with fantastic service from the time we checked in Dewayne was the man. He helped us through the check-in process and showed us our wonderful room (Drift Wood); since the rooms have no numbers (and that's evident throughout the property. One of the many highlights is that the staff really get to know you and cater to your needs. I can say that Francisco in Food and Beverage was the most highly valued person at the resort to us. He made sure that each meal and drink were to our liking and went above and beyond to exceed our expectations. Also, included with awesome service were Angela at the bar, Garnell, and Anderson. Chef Jason, was very visible to the guests and ensured that we were "WOWED" every night and even accomodated our anniversary dinner on the beach when Brazilian night changed. We very much appreciated that. Days would not have been the same without Randall on the beach. If you're staying there, you'll get to know him very well and he took fantastic care of us. Lastly, just a big thank you to everyone else involved in putting this resort together. Don't expect little things NOT to happen but be flexible and let them over impress you with their service and high standards. I was much appreciated!

Fabulous end of summer trip!

The Beach House is one of the most beautiful all inclusives we have stayed at! The moment you arrive all is ready and available to you. We stayed in Deserved and the room was gorgeous. We arrived very late night after a long flight and they offered us dinner at the restaurant even though the kitchen closed for the evening. ALL of the staff we had met was friendly, gracious and wonderful. It was the low season, so it felt like we had the resort to ourselves and a few friends. The beach is clean, white soft sand and Jamal and Toby were there with every water toy to enjoy, my husband had a blast on the Hobie Cat everyday and we used the SUPs and snorkel equip to visit JoJo the dolphin and turtles. The reserved beach chairs are so nice and Randall and Forty became new friends, they really do go beyond service with smiles, laughter and wonderful drinks and food delivered. The cooks at the beachside grill and restaurant are amazing, and yes to Bah Banton! Carleton and our housekeeper were always around and available, and making our day wonderful. Dinner in the evening was fabulous especially because of James, be sure and request his tables, he is the nicest, gracious, funny, good looking waiter!! Breakfast was wonderful because of Marcy and Sherily. Francisco came around and checked on everyone and was the best! Dewayne rules, so nice, so helpful. I don't think we met one staff member who was not professional and wonderful. Even when some of the other guests were being demanding it was amazing how gracious the staff would be, Randall and Forty we were impressed! We went to visit the other resort and it was nothing like Beach House.

Love the place, the "all-inclusive"; not so much...

This was the 5th year in a row I have stayed at the Beach House. We had a bit of misfortune, as our flight was cancelled and we couldn't get there until late the next night, we lost a full day and almost the entire 2nd day, arriving after 8pm. I realize it was not their fault, but when I called to tell them we would be coming a day late, without even asking I was told there would be no refund for the cancelled day. I was staying there 8 nights, and having been a return customer I would have thought refunding me 1 day would not have been a big deal. When we arrived at the hotel I mentioned this to the manager, he said "maybe I could get a nights credit when I come back". I have nothing in writing and I'm sure a year from now, no one will remember and I will never get any credit. As someone who keeps returning I thought they would try and do better. I also have to say the "all-inclusive" is a bit disappointing. The breakfast and lunch menus are ok, but they are the same every day. The dinner menus were similar, except when they had their theme nights. The 7 nights we had dinner, lobster was only offered on 2 nights, one night it was in the paella for "paella night" and once offered as an entre choice and it was 1/2 a lobster tail. In previous years lobster was offered on multiple nights. I also had an issue with the dining room, in that we were celebrating my sisters birthday while we were there. The night of her actual birthday was paella night, I asked around to see if she could have something other then paella as she doesn't like it. I was told by various staff it should be no problem. On the evening before her birthday we got a knock on the door and it was 2 people from the dining room telling us that they had planned a dinner on the beach for us to celebrate her birthday. I felt terrible as we had made reservations a month in advance to go somewhere else (it was a thurs. night, the website and at the resort they say the restaurant is closed on thursdays so you have to use the other resorts for dinner. It ended up they were open just for beach house guests, with a "limited menu".)Having not known this I told them it was very gracious of them, but we had other plans. They both said ok, we'll do it tomorrow night, is 630 ok? So I thanked them and thought it was set. The next day I was in the pool it was about 3 in the afternoon and one of the managers from the restaurant comes over to me and tells me that if I want a dinner on the beach they can do it, but they typically don't do it on Fridays because its paella night! I apologized and told her I never asked for a beach dinner, it was offered to us, the only thing I asked was if my sister could get something else besides paella. She said "oh" and asked me to wait while she spoke "with the kitchen". So I got out of the pool and waited, she came back with the menu for the night and said we could order the appetizer choices and then have something else. I asked if the choice could be a beef or white chicken choice, she again had to go to the kitchen to ask. She then came back to me and told me that we could just order our apps and then tell the server we are having something else. She said the server wont know, but they will ask the kitchen when we are ordering! To me this seemed a bit confusing, the servers are wonderful but service is normally a bit slow I could only imagine trying to tell them we are getting something other then paella and causing a problem. We opted to go somewhere else, although we had to pay, my sister was able to order something she liked to eat. What upset me more then anything was the next day no one even noticed we didn't show up for dinner. In a large resort it wouldn't phase me, but at the Beach House most of the staff sort of knows you, especially if you have been staying there week. That's part of the reason we go there because it is so personable, and also I asked 3 or 4 of the staff about not having paella, so I thought maybe they would have said" you didn't show up for dinner last night" Not one person said anything. With that being said, the Beach House is still a beautiful property. The dining room needs the biggest improvement or I wish we could have the option of doing all inclusive or just booking the room.. We loved meeting Toby, being dog lovers, getting to play with him was one of the highlights of our visit. Randall and Alberto were both wonderful and having remembered us, welcomed us back. We were even visited by a former emplyee who doesnt work there anymore, but he was told we were back and he came by to say hello. That was very special for us, it is nice to be remembered and welcomed back. The front desk person was gracious and helpful. She helped us rent a car, unfortunately her beautiful long hair covered her name tag and I never asked her her name. For my sister's birthday she was given a dozen roses and a lovely card with a bottle of champagne and chocolate covered strawberries. So some things still make you feel special, yet other things weren't so special. The beach and pool was definitely a bit more crowded with all the guests from the other 2 properties. You could sort of tell who was a guest at the beach house and who was a guest paying half the price using the same beach and facilities. So if you have never stayed here, you will probably love it. If you have stayed here be prepared for a lot of changes, not all for the good!
