All Inclusive

A spectacular resort, set on a dazzling beach, the all-inclusive Barcel Punta Cana boasts 798 rooms with red Spanish-styled rooftops. The lobby, in warm tangerine hues, invites you to linger, with comfy seating under a chandelier, which amusingly also happens to house a birds nest! Sprawled parallel with the beach, this spacious hotel curves around gardens and features two large pools that are perfect for a refreshing dip.

Boredom is not an option at this adventurer's paradise! Fly through the air on a trapeze at the circus school, or test your strength and endurance on the rock-climbing wall. Then, gaze down at the spectacular ocean-view from the top. Children's programs are also available and include a playground, game room, pool, and more.

Entice your palate at one of seven specialty restaurants and after supper, don't forget to try your luck at the casino or take in one of the dynamic live shows in the forum-style theater. Before topping the evening off at the nightclub, stop by one of the late night bars for a nightcap. Finally, head off to your luxurious room to rest up for the next day's adventure.

Once youve had a good night's rest, why not start your day off in the gorgeous, fully-equipped spa? Enjoy relaxing in the hot tub, pampering yourself in the beauty salon, or melting away stress in one of many massage rooms.

First trip to dominican rebublic

First off, let me say my family and I have been to Mexico twice but we were ready to try something different. We have heard nothing but amazing things about the Dominican Republic so decided to give it a try. We looked through so many hotels and Barcelo caught our eye immediately. The pictures online although beautiful didn't do this amazing place justice. From the moment we arrived we felt welcomed by smiles from the staff who were ready to help us get our vacation off to an amazing start. They took our luggage from us and said they would take it to our room as soon as we checked in. During check in Ambar and Jennifer went above and beyond to accommodate us. The reason why people complain that check in process is slow is because they constantly have people who cut in line which is very rude and they are already staying at the resort. It is not the fault of the staff they are trying to be friendly to everyone so they wait on them. After checkin went to rooms and we definitely weren't disappointed. Beds extremely comfortable. Bathroom and rest of room spotless. Maids were always sweet and smiling at us. There are two huge pools. One pool with swim up bar was more of the "party pool" with a lot of activities to keep you entertained throughout the day. The other pool, which is the pool my family and I spent the majority of our trip was more relaxing and less crowded. We were always sitting by the pool every morning before it opened and the man who cleaned it high fived us every morning and did not mind if we went in before the pool opened. He worked very hard every morning to make sure the pool was spotless. Beach and ocean were AMAZING and super clean. We never had any problem finding chairs. Making reservation for specialty restaurants was very easy. We stood in line at guest services every morning at 7AM and had our choice of restaurants. The whole process was very easy and efficient. One night we went to Italian restaurant which was amazing. We had a waiter named Jose, I tipped him 2 dollars that night. That next morning after Italian he was a waiter the at breakfast buffet. He not only remembered me but made it a point to carry my plate back from buffet and also pull my chair out for me. We ate at the specialty restaurants quite often but when we ate the buffet our group of five was always satisfied and could always find something they liked especially the bananas! Loved the snack tent and pizza restaurant during lunch time. The drinks were amazing and could definitely taste the alcohol in them. Far from being watered down it was quite the opposite. Noticed many people did not tip anyone, the staff works extremely hard and deserve a tip here and there. A dollar tip goes along way. Miguel at the poolside bar was amazing and remembered us. We tipped him everyday. Safe to say we had an amazing trip and can't wait to plan our trip for next year to the Barcelo. Thank you staff for an unforgettable trip. More>

My husband and I stayed at the Barcelo Punta Cana for our first anniversary, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure we had a fantastic trip. We had such a great time we tried to extend our stay at the hotel but it was booked for the next few days. José Carrasco and his staff exceeded our expectations with everything we asked and even threw in a surprise or two. We would definitely stay there again on our next trip to Punta Cana. Everybody was very friendly and helpful. One of the bartenders mixed me a local remedy for an upset stomach. We highly recommend the Barcelo Punta Cana.....⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ More>

Beautiful resort, needs some work on certain things tho, I found it was a little over priced for what it was. The staff was not very friendly and not very accommodating at all, they really should hire some smiling staff to great new comers. Had a lot of fun with the water sports, first time ever parasailing another one to add to the bucket list. I would not return to this resort but I would defiantly return to the Dominican!! More>

Daughter came home with Salmonella poisening

Our agent booked us in this hotel by mistake, I hope. There were bugs in our room. Stains and rips in the bedding. None of the staff cared! I believe my daughter got salmonella poisening from the food here. She had a stomach ache Wednesday evening. Awoke Thursday morning running 102 fever and vomitting. She couldn't keep anything down so we had to go to the ER. She stayed there until Saturday morning. Worst vacation ever. We moved to Barceló Bavaro Deluxe the next day, which was an awesome resort.
