A place to disconnect, if that's what you're looking for!

The location, the room, the beach and the staff were excellent, and so was the food, although in Schooner's bar it took quite a while to get the order on the table. It is a place to unwind and disconnect. We had a wonderful time. Thank you.

Amazing Stay at Avila Beach Hotel

My wife an I were lucky to stay in this beautiful hotel. We booked the Belle alliance Oceanfront type, with a splendid view overlooking the palmtrees and the private beaches of the hotel. The driver was waiting on us upon arrival at Hato International Airport, thanks to the free transfer from and to the hotel. What a great service! Upon arrival at the hotel, we immediately got a very refreshing "fruit punch", a very welcoming refreshment after a 9h flight. Our room was ready (even if it was 2h before check-in time) and the purser accompanied us to our room and offered some help with the luggage. We dined at The Pen restaurant that first night, it was a Caribbean Grill night (with I highly recommend you). We had a free breakfast buffet with our reservation, and it was a highly recommended breakfast, with lots of different breads, yoghurts, fresh eggs, fruits... There was something new everyday, so a lot of variation. You can even have dinner on the beach at this hotel. This gives you a romantic spot on the private beach and very fine dining. Avila beach hotel has so much to offer, from a beautiful room to the friendly staff, I would say, I all made a memorable holiday. Overall, this was a splendid stay at Avila beach Hotel, and I will be back for more!

Stayed at Avila Beach for 5 days and I have to say the resort is very nice. Good choices were decent for breakfast and the dinner options are nice if you like steak and fish. Beach was a bit rocky but that’s okay. The beauty of the surroundings made up for the rocks. Rooms were spacious and the balcony was great to just come out and sit on when the rain was coming down. It’s also in a pretty central location. Was able to walk 20 min into town where restaurants and shopping is. There’s even a rental car near reception for those who want to explore the island. Would definitely visit Avila again.

Enjoyed a very relaxing week at Avila

We were in La Belle Alliance - Oceanfront, first-floor. Room was recently renovated, clean and well-situated. The staff (reception, Schooner Bar, Blues Restaurant) were courteous, helpful, and engaging. Setting is beautiful - nice to have lagoons, but not a big beach. Walking distance to city center is a plus, but we were warned not to walk at night. Having a car was a plus to explore the South coast and the Shete Boka and Christoffel parks. Food was adequate in the main restaurant - Blues Thursday was great, and the special nightly events at the resort are fun!

A Gem!

I don’t know if it is because we are here in “off” season, but everything has been wonderful. Nice quiet hotel with great food and staff. Other reviews have had comments about unfriendly or impersonable staff, but not in our experience, anywhere here. Only minor concern would be housekeeping attentiveness, but nothing to guests detriment. Still here and will not hesitate to book here again. If you are looking for a quiet hotel with all the amenities and none of the aggravation, this is it!!
