Excellent service and a great time for everyone. The entire experience was amazing and the bartender at the beach (Jhune) what the best!! I have to make sure that the hotel management knows just how great he was! I only issue is that trying to reach the hotel to verify my points were added to my Marriott Rewards Program could have been better. I'm still waiting to hear back from the and I emailed the hotel last Thursday. It is now Sunday.

Just wish everyone was on the same page with the rental of beach corerage. We were told different prices each time and the last day we decided to stay on the beach and pay for the palapals. We were told by the front desk tht there was a $50 deal that if you spent $40 on food and beverage that you got the palapals for $10 dolors and the food covered the balance. Had we known this early in our trip we would have done this every day instead of getting up early to try and get umbrellas at the pool.

I would have liked to have had some entertainment at the hotel besides the Casino. It was pretty boring at night.

Beautiful beach and resort layout. The only thing that I was not happy with were the Concierge at the Hotel. I do not think they were affiliated with the hotel directly and gave poor directions for people who ahve never been there before. After an hour of dirving to find a restaruant they reccomended and starred on a really small map, when we returned to the hotel the next person provided us with a very detailed map specifically for that resaruant. Then in the morning when we asked for a resturant by name for breakfast, they told us where it was and we drove all the way to find out they do not servce breakfast and were not open. They probably should have been able to tell us that. Outside of that everything was great.

I would probably book myself through Marriott. I was thinking their would be a apple representative and there were none on the property. Mother transfers took too long - 1 hour. So we took a taxi back to airport that took only 20 minutes and 20 dollars.

Warning Don't go if your expecting Platinum Elite Benefits

I just called the hotel and I've been to Marriott and Ritz Carlton properties all over the world but I was told that none of the Platinum Elite benefits apply in Aruba like free breakfast and club upgrades. Just want to warn everyone if that's what they think they are getting.

We've stayed at this Marriott Palm Beach for many years, had mixed experiences with rooms. This time, we got just what we'd requested (oceanview, quiet side overlooking adult pool). Even as Marriott Platinum, the upgrades are not automatic here so we've paid the $100/nt extra to insure it. That said, the room was ideally situated, friendly service from the front desk to the housekeeping staff. Service and food at the beach grill was terrific. The new first come/first serve white beach umbrellas are long overdue and a welcome addition to provide essential sun breaks. Overall, this was one of the best visits we've had at this Marriott.

We've stayed in Aruba about 9 times now, twice at this property. It's our favorite. Hotel and pool are gorgeous- hint, get chairs early, and stop by at least every two hours or they will be gone. Beach is not as crowded as the surf/ocean and further down, and still beautiful unlike the ritz Carlton next door - their beach has no palm trees and is covered in low bushes. Ruth Chris steakhouse is onsite, and never disappoints. Happy hour 2 for 1 drinks every day 12-1 and 3-5, poolside fare is decent, not too expensive. Rooms have been redone, and are immaculate with stellar views on the higher floors. People are great, friendly and helpful here.

We signed up for early checkin, which may or may not work as checkout is noon. Anyway, we were told by front desk room was ready and when we got there, housekeeping was still working on the room. Went down to front desk to speak to mgr and informed him of circumstances and was given another room which was more ready than the first one. Once we got situated, everything was fine. Towel cards are provided but one has to go to the towel hut (open 7-7) to exchange for the actual towels. I’m not clear on why they do this as the adjacent Surf Club provides towels in the room and it’s an even exchange. The room has a mini fridge and coffee machine. Cabanas at the adult pool runs $75/day, booked in advance. Get up early to reserve even a regular spot as it gets full quickly. There’s a Starbucks coffee and lobby cafe, plus a Sushi bar combined with a regular bar. Between the hotel and casino, there are a variety of shops and area restaurants. Beachfront is public, the casino slots can be tight or looser, depending upon the machine and stroke of luck. You can walk to alot of the other local shops; we rented a car our first time down but don’t feel the need to now unless we’re doing a day trip on our own. Car rentals are available locally or at the airport. This property is between the Ocean club and the Ritz Carlton.

Great Place to Stay

We stayed at the Marriott Stellaris Hotel which is one of many Marriotts in the Palm Beach area. The accommodations are top notch and the place is immaculately maintained. We had an ocean view room and the wind from the trade winds was refreshing. There are plenty of activities and shops in the hotel and the staff is warm and friendly. The only downside is the high resort fees. You still have to pay $30 per day for a spot on the beach but that’s what you get in a resort I guess. It doesn’t bother us too much as we plan a return visit next year.
