Amazing Honeymoon Vaca
Lauren M,

We had the pleasure of staying in one of the large suites at Andaz with a plunge pool overlooking the ocean. The room was impeccable and the view was simply stunning. The property was large enough were we never got bored of activities or meals, but small enough to get around and feel comfortable. The staff went above and beyond in every interaction. They knew us by name or funny moments we shared, and they were happy and genuine. The staff really amkes the hotel. We even ran into ohr couples at check-out who were also taken-back by the friendliness of the staff. Esoecially Jefferson at the Tapas restaurant, we had lots of laughs with him! It was an amazing hotel to end our honeymoon on and we will definitely be back!

Great resort in a gorgeous location!

Spent five nights in this beautiful and unique Andaz Resort property. Everyone on the Team was guest focused and as gracious and welcoming as they could be. The food was outstanding. Cocktail enthusiasts should sign up for the Mixology course, available for a reasonable charge. Also, do charter a fishing excursion. I saw several types of dolphins, sea turtles, and a group of stingrays launching themselves several feet into the air. Caught a Mahi Mahi that the hotel restaurant made into ceviche and grilled and also blackened for dinner that night. Special Thanks to General Manager Mr. Adam Zilbert- he is a true professional whose leadership shows in the caring and excellence of his Team. Also to Food and Beverage Director Ms. Abigail Kahl who was so welcoming and gracious!

Good not great

Extremely beatiful and clean. Food and drink is very overpriced. It is very secluded and hard to get off the resort. With that being said you would hope since you are spending the majority of time and money at the resort you would get a better value. Be prepared to pay up at every meal and drink. The rooms dont have much of a fridge or any place to keep things cold (a small leaking icebox). also ice must be ordered, there are no ice machines

Stunning, Comfortable Resort

My boyfriend and I had an amazing stay at the Andaz — from the moment we checked in (and were handed fresh juice and golf-carted to our gorgeous, huge, ocean-view room) to our smooth check-out at 3am. The weather was perfect, and we thoroughly enjoyed all the pools, paddle boarding & kayaking at the beach and eating at Ostra (the ceviche sampler in particular changed our lives). The impeccable staff couldn’t have been friendlier or more helpful. Hospitality at its finest. Important to note: if you’re headed to the Andaz to get some R&R, you’re good to go. But, if you’re hungry to explore and get your feet wet (literally) we’d highly suggest renting a car. The Andaz is ~25 minutes from the nearest highway to other towns/beaches, but the lack of proximity and convenience was more than made up by the sheer quality of the resort and our gorgeous room. After long days of activities and trailblazing, we entered our room in sheer bliss every single night. The roads are far from perfect in comparison to what we’re accustomed to in the States, and occasionally the routes can be a bit out of the way, but we found it 100% necessary in getting to experience the true culture of Costa Rica. You’re welcome to book activities/excursions through the resort, but we loved driving and exploring nearby towns (Playa Flamingo is a MUST for clear, blue water, waves and good food). SUV highly recommended. Necessary, really. Thanks for the trip of a lifetime, Andaz!

Truly Amazing

Truly amazing, I wish we had more time to enjoy all Andaz had to offer. Alfredo at Chao Pescao was genuinly friendly. Excellent choice to enjoy as a group for meetings or business events. Blessed!!!!!
