Havana Getaway Itinerary

▼ Day 1 - Arrive in Havana - Overview of the City
Your short flight from Miami to Havana will last just under an hour, and upon arrival you'll meet your Cuban Tour Guide and local expert, who will accompany you throughout your 4-night journey. After collecting your bags and exiting customs, your driver will take you on a panoramic overview of the city. Stop at the remarkable Plaza de la Revolucion, the city's most important square and center for political talks and cultural happenings. There you'll see the statue of Cuba's national hero, Jose Marti, as well as symbols of the country's revolutionary heroes including Camilo Cienfuegos and Che Guevara. Learn about the different neighborhoods in Havana, including the vibrant Vedado district, home of the University of Havana. Then make a brief stop at the Capitol area and one of Old Havana's most beautiful squares. You'll be sure to find many restored American antique cars in great condition. Indulge at a local "paladar", or privately-owned restaurant in Cuba, for your introduction to Cuban cuisine! In the evening, you'll be picked up and be transported by a vintage American car to a local restaurant for a tasty welcome dinner in Havana. Interact with your driver to learn about the ways they've been able to maintain these vehicles throughout the years.
