Barcelona Vacations
Weather in Barcelona is pleasant for most of the year, but you will experience the absolute best weather from May till end of July making these months most attractive for a visit. September is also a good month.

On the northeastern coast of the Iberian Peninsula, where it dips into the warm Mediterranean Sea, lies the capital of Catalonia-Barcelona. Although the second-largest city in Spain in both size and population, it's still hard to imagine how all the culture, dining, nightlife, museums, art, and architecture found within can be contained inside its sprawling borders. The Old City, or Ciutat Vella, is a gothic maze of meandering stone streets and historic architecture just beyond world-famous Las Ramblas; steps away is the Port Vell harbor with its Riviera-reminiscent vibe, and the beaches of Barceloneta. Modern skyscrapers and Modernist architecture by master designer Antoni Gaudí - including Sagrada Familia and Park Guellreach for the skies, much like the hills of Montjuic and Tibidabo have done for ages. Paella, tapas, sangria, jamon iberico, and more incredible cuisine add even more flavor to this diversely fascinating city, where football and flights of fancy are never far.
